So how amazing is Kristen? 20 pounds since March, people, and she met her goal of being at 160 in April! (applause break here) Since I started doing Shred on March 4, I've had several intermediate goals, but I've really only been doing all of this for one reason.
Getting back to my Weight Watchers goal weight: 192 pounds.
Yeah, I know it's unhealthy to focus on a number at the scale, but there it is: 192. A number that, in 1993, I worked hard to get to. A number that, in 2003, I busted my ass to get back to. It was a number that felt good. And it was a number that I let slip away again for more than 2 years.
I finally dropped below 192 pounds at last Saturday's meeting. And it was the way I used to do it...no emptying pockets, no taking my 2 pounds of shoes off. Just walking up and weighing in. 46 pounds lighter since November...YEAH!
So, well, hmm. *wanders aimlessly* I've got to admit I've lost a little motivation this week after getting there. Maintenance isn't so inspiring for me, so I'm getting reading to aim for another goal. And I'm focusing on another number. It's between 4 and 6. (And all shall be revealed tomorrow).

Congratulations to both you and Kristen! That is awesome!!!
I really need to think about a "goal"---mine is slippery and therefore hard to work toward.

Yay!! Congratulations!! As you know, maintenance is the harder of the two achievements, but doesn't get nearly as much fanfare. :)
Good luck, and I can't wait to see what's next!!

Congrats! That has to feel great!
I'm one pound away from my mini-goal of getting under 200 again. I'm not really sure what my end goal is at this point.
And looking forward to the news tomorrow. I've actually already downloaded podcasts to help me with the new endeavor.
