I've been working out daily since March 2. And in that time, I've stopped eating after 8pm and I don't drink anything but water and a few alcoholic beverages (if that) a week.
To be perfectly honest with you, it hasn't been hard to stick with, even though I've got three kids to chase after, many times all alone. I'm not bragging or trying to make anyone feel bad for not sticking to it.
But before this, before I started this adventure or journey or whatever you want to call it, I was feeling pretty crappy. I was moody, weepy, and often times unpleasant. And I needed to make a change and do something about it. Something FOR MYSELF.
I know that exercise can help a lot of things, but in this case, it helped more then cut my weight down and give me my body back. It has helped my relationship with my husband and my kids, and it has helped my own psyche survive what can often times be pretty grueling days and nights.
So excuse me while I go celebrate hitting 160! That's 20lbs off since I started.
YIPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!

Congrats to Anna from Hank and Willie on winning the Clear2Go Filtered Water Bottle! Drop me an email, Anna, and I'll get that sent to you.
Next up I've got a *SporteeGal Fitness Journal up for grabs. Created by mom Susan Osborne, these journals (which come in everything from Fitness to Triathalon to Golf) help you keep track of your workout routine and diet all in one place.
They're small and fairly simple (nothing hugely fancy here - I wish the pages were better quality and the design was a bit sleeker and stylish), it's great to have everything in one place, especially if you're doing varying workouts and trying to keep track of your food. It has tabs for all of that - cardio, weights, diet, goals... And it allows you to see your progress, which is a super great motivator.
So, if you're a Shredhead listed in the sidebar and you'd like to win one, just leave me a comment and let me know what you're doing now to keep track. Daily posts, journaling, not keeping track at all? And I'll enter you (Void where prohibited, US Residents only, Comments must be made by Friday May 1, Midnight EST to be entered, Must be a Shredhead to be entered).
*I occasionally receive products for free to review and giveaway. I share my honest opinions.

Congratulations!
Right now I'm trying to find the perfect balance; I keep track of my daily caloric intake on a post it note (very classy & scientific) and I try to remember what it is I've done am supposed to do for exercise. I've got a new DVD that holds promise as a long term option.

I've already won something, so don't enter me here, but I just wanted to give you a bit congrats for being so consistent and for losing 20 pounds already! I need to get a bit more serious about the snacking habit if I'm going to get rid of these last 5-10 pounds---that is a killer for me.

20 pounds is awesome! I've only lost 10 pounds total, but I consider the true victory to be that my body fat percentage has decreased 6%. (I have a scale that calculates body fat - love it!)

That is truley awesome!! Keep it up!
I keep track of my progress when I update my blog for a 'shred report'. Usually on Fridays. Then I think back to what I actually did during the week. And on Sat - Wed (the day's its easier for me to work out)I try to motivate myself so that my Friday update won't be pathetic!

tweeting daily to my #shredheads seems to keep me accountable. i doubt anyone following me will hound me if i didn't check in everyday but still my expectation that i must tweet what i have done shredhead-wise daily holds me accountable. i also downloaded the Lose it app (http://www.apptism.com/apps/lose-it) to my iTouch. i have to log in all exercise and every freaking morsel that i put in my mouth. keeping track seems to keep me mostly on track.
oh, and Kristen and Bill inspire me with the results that they both have posted. Kristen that 20 lbs is freakin' amazing. you will rawk that bridesmaid dress with the "shah" for sure!
NO i am not shamelessly sucking up but i do want a shredheads t-shirt totally. i can't wait to read about those. onward to the next month of shredding!

I'm keeping track by a Monday morning weigh in on the wii fit after a round of Jillian. I'm down like 12 pounds. Nobody is asking if I'm pregnant anymore so now I feel weird. If it was "this easy" why didn't I deal with this a year ago? Congrats on your amazing milestone!!!
