I admit that I'll be a little sad to see Level 1 go. It's still not easy. But for the most part, the only thing I'm not doing full out are the pushups. I can do real ones, but I don't call going up and down two inches "real ones."
As an aside, I've been hungrier, which is annoying, but I'm still only drinking water and still not eating after 8pm. And remind me NOT to gorge myself on cole slaw because holy bloating gasseous wonder.
And the regularity of the YOU KNOW WHAT that comes with exercise is killing me.
Sorry if that's a bit too much information, but I'd love to commisserate with anyone who's dealing with the Roid Rage. Regularity is NOT my friend. Even the damn high fiber oatmeal ain't helping things.
But really, I'm pretty damn scared of Level 2. So if you're already doing it, tell me what you love and what you hate about Level 2.
Also, since it's Graduation Day, I have presents. Sorry, Jillian will not be coming to your house to whip you into shape, however, I've got five pairs of Lee Stretch Capris (Green or Khaki your choice in size) and five $50 gift cards to SmartyPig.com. So, you can have something to try to fit your ass into without having to spend money on "skinny pants" and you can start saving up for your tummy tuck if this fails.
I know, great attitude, right?
All you need to do is just email me with your update post. If you've only been doing the 30 Day Shred every other day, or once a week, or every day, that's fine. Just share how you're doing, how it's going, and better, show us photos from when you started and now.
Send your post to me at motherhooduncensored@yahoo.com by Friday, March 13 and I'll enter you. You need to be one of the shredheads and I'll pick five winners at random.
If you've already updated this week, that's fine -- send me that post. And if I already have it up, then consider yourself entered.
So here's how I looked at the beginning and after Level 1. Tomorrow - LEVEL 2!

Wow, you look great, Kristen. I can definitely see a difference already!

CONGRATS K! You can totally see a difference, and awesome that you are still committed to water and no late night eating. Definitely makes a difference!
Level 2 is HARD but there's hope. I definitely have felt myself get stronger through it.

i am on day 14 of level 2. i have to say it is harder because it is different. i feel muscels i forgot i had being used and that is seriously a good thing. the thing i love the most is there is ,ore emphasis on the core throughout...all those plank poses. the thing i hate the most (besides the cheesy music that i have agree sounds like bad porn music) is the emphasis on the core. i hate plank poses and exercises done while in the plank. i hate them mainly because i hate seeing my sweat dripping off of me onto the mat. eeewww! sorry for the visual. but it is all good because i am like how i feel. my clothes are fitting better or looser (whoo-hoo) and an added bonus is i am sleeping better (when i do get to sleep).
keep on shredding everyone!

Looking good mama! I think I mentioned before that I have been using this DVD for a while (since January). Level 2 is tough, but it isn't too bad. I have been doing level 3 for the last two weeks. Honestly the video helped me lose the last few baby lbs, but I am still fighting the extra belly flab that comes with having a baby. Wishing you and all the other mamas luck!

Wow- you are toning up! Awesome! It's what I needed to hear and see. I skipped today. Stupid making things go whirly whooo chest and head cold.

You look awesome!

Congrats Kristen, you look fantasticker. I have done some level 2 and it's not so scary, especially if you stick with Anita to start. go mama!
I don't have any before-during pictures but I did go to a custom jeans place and have my whole body measured!

Looking good! I can definitely see some changes in your abs, hips and shoulders.
I'm scared to even think about Level 2 since I can still barely do Level 1.

Holy shit! You look awesome! I have GOT to start my shredding...tonight! Congratulations!

Great job! You're definitely making a difference...hopefully you can see it like the rest of us do.

Youre looking great!!
And, hello, I am RIGHT there with you on the regularity thing. Im finding that making sure I drink as much water as possible helps a tad, but I feel your pain quite literally.
Oh, and I snuck a peak on Level 2 today, it looks--dare I say--kind of fun. But then again I only watched about 10 minutes before I got scared and turned it off. I don't want to know what's in store for me in a few days.

Wow, 10 days is totally noticeable. How do I become a ShredHead?
Posted by: Allison | 03/11/2009 at 04:41 PM
I just stumbled on this blog when looking for stuff about the Shred online. I am on Day 3 of Level 1 and it is definitely kicking my butt! I have done it every day so far and hope to keep up that pace. I haven's noticed a difference yet in the way I look, but I feel great. I am sore, but in the good way that you know your muscles are getting worked.
By the way, you look good in your before and after pics. I can see the difference.

Wow, I notice a change in your photos! I don't think I look a heck of a lot different (part of it will be b/c I am having a hard time with the cardio right now) but I flexed my arm for my husband last night and he said "WHOA!" So, that's something!
I skipped Sunday, so I have another day before Level 2. I'm scared though.

You are looking great! I'm going to stick with level 1 a bit longer since I'm starting off with way more to lose (and more weight to move around and cause stress to my joints) However, I'll udpate, because at a minimum, my clothes say I'm looking better.
