There's nothing like motherhood to bring out your inner germaphobe. Granted, I am way better than my "I swear everything on this earth is contaminated" husband.
Sure. Pick up that raisin and eat it -- it's only been on the ground for four seconds!
But let's face it. I don't want sick kids. You don't want sick kids. No one really likes to be sick. Unless you have Muchausen's and well, that's just a whole other post!
No matter how many times you try to tell me the anti-bacterial stuff isn't the greatest thing for preventing illness, I still carry it with me. Sorry. Trying to find a bathroom everytime my daughter touches every door knob is a little difficult. And so, I carry the stuff to hold us over until we can wash our hands.
But holy dry hands! And the stench. Oh. the. stench. The stuff I bought from Bath and Body Works now smells like Raspberry wine -- which might be sort of cool, but really, is actually pretty darn gross.
So you know I jumped on the chance to try out CleanWell. It's totally natural and safe for kids, dogs, you name it. You can spray it anywhere and on anything and it doesn't sting, hurt, or smell like my alcoholic (score!). The best part, in my opinion, is that my hands feel soft and smooth after I use it -- no weird gelly feeling that makes you feel icky and want to go wash your hands (sort of defeats the purpose of the product).
CleanWell is made from thyme (yes, go ahead, sing it), and it's sustainable (can be grown without pesticides) and renewable. And it tastes great with lamb. The thyme that is. But if you happen to get CleanWell on your good, it won't make you sick. But hey, you already knew that.
Let's put it this way. If you have kids, you carry anti-bac. If you are going to carry anti-bac, you should carry CleanWell. Not because I said so (although I'm totally into that), but because it's 99.9% effective (we're none the sicker here), smells great, and you can't get drunk off it.
And yes. That's a good thing.
