Hey there! Hahah I loved this post. My son has just started to find and use his own swear words which although they can be quite funny, they can also be quite embarrassing if used at the wrong time or in front of the wrong people. I love swearing sometimes because sometimes there is nothing that will feel that good,,, i wonder where he gets it?!

This site was... how do I say it? Relevant!! Finally I've found something which helped me. Appreciate it!

That's the kind of image that i really thing is super image like. If more images very real like this were out there we'd be super full of graet images in the world.

Excellent post. I will be facing mawny of these issues as well..

First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I've had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Many thanks! - VISIT X

We're a group of volunteers and opening a brand new scheme in our community. Your site offered us with useful info to work on. You've done a formidable task andd our whole group can be grateful to you.

HA! The rascal thing is hilarious. I worry, one day, my son will say "Who the F**K knows?" in response to a simple question posed in Kindergarten class - my husband says that all the time when he's venting... :-/

Hey, who isn't a dumb-ask every now and then? And the fact that your kids can identify them accurately at their ages? Awesome. It's a skill that keeps on giving.

XD I love this. I don't really censor myself around my kids. I don't get the big deal about words anyway, why some words are "bad" or whatever. Of course, I also have a terrible potty mouth. Meh. They'll hear them their whole life anyway. The rule in our house is that when you pay your own bills, you can say whatever you want, lol.

Girl Child is kind of the opposite - she's wide-eyed and appalled when she hears a "bad" word. In fact, on Saturday, I let 'shit' slip, and she looked at me like, "MOM!" I turned to her and said, "You're going to hear "bad" words your entire life. Here, let me get you used to them: Shit Shit Shit. We just want you to use words that are smarter. It's not the end of the world if you don't."

And I love dumb-ask. *files that away for future use.....*

Last night, my doppleganger called her brother an asshole. One eyebrow raised, I ask "what did you say?". She responds "Rascal. I called him a Rascal". I shrugged my shoulders, and consider that a mother win. At least she can rhyme.

My kids have a vocabulary arsenal too. I can't blame them too much because it all came from la boca de mamá. They know what is appropriate and what isn't, s'pose I should work on the same. Then again Fin once said, "God is a word we don't really say, right, Mom?" I nodded. Then she said very earnestly, "But goddamnit is fine, right?" and it fixed everything in my life for a solid five minutes.
