This weekend at Dad 2.0 Summit I saw a lot of dudes.
A lot.
I survived conversations about the undercarriage (aka Gootch - who knew?), balls (holy ball talk, y'all), and dolphin penis.
I listened to Her Bad Mother analyze the accuracy of Vaginaraptor over Vaginasaurus Rex.
I saw dudes cry and laugh and ride a mechanical bull (but not at the same time).
I ate large amounts of barbeque and guacamole (at the same time).
A lot.
The only fights over swag were planned ones thanks to the folks at Kinect 360 and the Pixar Rush battle in which I lost miserably.
The only douche was the weather. Though Dave Taylor put up a tough fight.
I squeezed some of my most favorite people in the whole entire world. {Insert links to lots of awesome mom and dad bloggers here}.
And squeezed some new ones too. {Insert links to lots more awesome mom and dad bloggers here}.
But all good, ridiculously late kinda drunken nights wandering around Austin in the rain at 3am must come to an end and I arrived home to a clean house, a bunch of crazy children, and a husband who clearly wanted to get laid because he sent me this:
I mean, if that isn't foreplay then God help me I don't know what is.
I hate that, either. Did you tell her your feeling?

I'm taller than you.

Great to see you there!

It was so great to finally meet you in person and share a trip to the porta potties. We'll always have Johnnie On The Spots.

So glad that I helped contribute to your knowledge of the undercarriage.
And I hope your thigh is better.
I'll let your readers chew on that. I have a lack of reputation to not maintain.
Pleasure to finally meet you.

So glad I finally got to meet you in person, Kristen. Meant a lot to have you and Karen in the room when I talked parentblogging and race.

Who the hell called you "tall"... That guy is an a-hole.

What everyone else said, and a bag of chips. Great seeing you again.

Stop with the sexting on your blog! Jeez. Get a room, will ya? Because nothing turns me on more than the frozen food section sales.
(Someday a blog conference for me. Someday.)

I really am sorry I didn't get to meet Dave Taylor. He sounds like he would have been a lot of fun! The conference sounded awesome and I heard through the grapevine that you were really TALL. And that you rocked your session. So good on you.

And a good time was had by all. It was great seeing you again.

It was great to finally squeeze you! Hey--you forgot to mention your own adventure on the mechanical bull.
Thanks for coming to the shindig.

Dude, what is it about going to a dad blogger conference that puts husbands at home in the mood? You wouldn't believe how clean my garage is. (And that's not a euphemism for girly undercarriage.)

Sorry about the weather, but we really do need some rain, so we aren't complaining (even if it made a six-hour round trip to Dallas into over ten).

In the short four hours that I was at the conference I could feel the love. It was a really special weekend for a lot of people and I loved the conversations that were happening.
Your tech/kids panel with Ken Denmeade and Clay Nichols was better than half the stuff I saw at SXSW. I wish it were on video!

I had no idea how much fun I was missing out on until everyone started Tweeting about it. Then I found out a friend of mine, who lives in Austin, went to the PBS Kids thang and that she got swag and that I am only mere hours away and that maybe she could have gotten me in too and instead I was here in Houston driving in the torrential rain without a canoe just so I could go buy some art markers at Michaels and then I felt pathetic. But hey, at least I have my markers now.
