Tuesday night, my hubby and I spent 2 hours brainstorming, analyzing, ranking and finally deciding on how we were going to change up our daughter's bedtime routine. Then, I opened your blog and saw this post. I shared it with hubby, and we both had a much-need good laugh. Thanks!

My son is too young to have experienced the whole baby sleep regression thing, but this advice is duly noted. :)

This is hysterical!!

I love your bedspread, btw.

Ha @themuskrat - That's where Margot slept as well until a few months ago...

Darling!

Careful. When my dog was a pup she used to do that. And then she started digging into the box spring, thinking she could work her way up from underneath....

this is much better than in the closet, where our infant sleeps.

SO brilliant.

If that isn't a primal need to find shelter and safety coming through, I don't know what is.
Also, since I do not have a cleaning obsessed husband, there is no way that my under bed would be anywhere close to clean enough for a kid...

my oldest (4) snuck under our bed one night when he came in too early to sleep on our floor. I was so confused when I saw him come in and then when I got up to put him back in bed he was gone!! fortunately a little bit of blanket was peaking out from under the bedskirt.

very cute that she fell asleep under there!!

Does she think she has to give up her bed for the new baby?

As long as she's not under there during any adult bedroom activities, I'd call it a win.

That shit cracks me up every time I look at it. omfg.

Funny.

And to think, I just keep our tote bags and stuff under my bed. And dust bunnies.

I would stick ours under the bed if only we had an under the bed.

I give up.
