Shop for Anissa - Get your Mominatrix book
Call it Asian solidarity, or just because Anissa Mayhew happens to be one of the liking-est (and probably licking-est too) bloggers out there, but there's no way I could let "Shop for Anissa" day go by without trying to help spread the word.
If you've been hiding under a rock, then you might not know that Anissa, an Atlanta mom of three, avid blogger, and very rare large breasted Asian, had a stroke a few weeks back. She's since been moved out of the ICU and is growing more responsive every day, but the road ahead is long.
So her friends at Aiming Low have put together "Shop for Anissa" day, with over 60 plus vendors and shops (many of them Cool Mom Picks faves) donating a portion of their profits from today's sales to the Hope 4 Anissa fund. This will go to help her children and her husband, who's taken a leave from work to care for them.
I'll be donating 20% of the sales of the Mominatrix Shirt and Book combo to her fund. I should have my author copies before the holidays, so if you want the book for Christmas (though I can't make a blood promise that it will be there), you will want to order it this way.
And if you already have a shirt, you're welcome to just order a book for $12 (includes shipping and my extremely valuable autograph - HA!). Email me: mominatrixbook[at]gmail[dot]com and I can send you a paypal invoice for just the book. I'll even throw in some free condoms!
Unfortunately, the Amazon pre-orders won't go out until January, however, it's perfect timing for Valentine's Day.
Now go shop before I have to get out my whip.
Attention Atlantans: I'll also be donating 15% of the proceeds from book sales at the Mominatrix Atlanta book signing to Hope 4 Anissa, and even cooler, the Beehive Co-op (the shop hosting my event) will be donating 15% of their sales during my event to the fund as well.

Oooh, Beehive is AWESOME!! Love it! Since I've already ordered an autographed book, maybe I'll wear my Mominatrix shirt and you can sign my boobs. Sa-weet!

I love the way this community sticks together. When we gather in numbers, nothing can take us down.
