Because It's My Horse and I Can Beat it to Death if I Want

*Updates. More guests!

We've all got opinions about everyone else's business. We leave our comments here, there, and everywhere. But then that person says "Hey. Put your money where your mouth is and talk to me about this on my radio show."

So, I dare you. I triple dog dare you.

Tonight I'll be talking with Rebecca (of Girls Gone Child and Straight from the Bottle) and Romi, Co-creators of True Mom Confessions (and a soon to be radio show) about their site and how it impacts the blogopshere, particularly for folks who don't feel comfy letting it all hang out on their own blog. With lots of places for moms to share their secrets, maybe we can just write happy, pretty stuff on our own blogs and save our asses in the long run.

Ha. Yeah right.

Later in the show, special guests Lara, Meg, and hopefully you will be discussion blog anonymity or lack thereof  as well as what we should or should not be writing on our blog from 9-10pm EST.

Set your own life easier take the mortgage loans and everything you want.

I have mom guilt enough for 5 moms - a trip to my blog, which is not anonymous, would affirm that. LOL I'll try to remember tune in but seriously, by then, the baby's nursed and I'm on my way to la-la land lol

What a life! LOL

I just posted a whopper on my blog that I half wish I'd posted on Her Bad Mother's Basement or the Confessions site. I may actually get to listen to your show tonight!

Mommy guilt? I've got TONS of it. Who doesn't?

oh, I've been a bad listener - bedtime has gotten later since sun goes down later too, but I'll be listening to tonight's show after the fact for sure!

My blog *is* my blog and I would like to think that I can blog about whatever the hell I want, but I suspect that's because I'm confusing my public blog with my hypothetical under lock-and-key diary. And so, for the most part, I leave my job and my co-workers, and those of my husband, out of it. Everything and everyone else is fair game, though I suspect that there is still a modicum of self-editing just in case a family member somehow stumbles upon me...

Will try to listen and twiddle my thumbs while watching American Idol. Oh I have mommy guilt MAJOR-LY this week!

Ps About Orlando, I'm near the Space Coast

This sounds great!!!!

Oh, I may actually have a shot at listening tonight.
I pretty much leave my family rants out of my blog. I know how easily they can be found. I'm saving a stash of ranting for Her Bad Mother's Basement, if it comes to that!
Looking forward to the podcast.

i may give you a call tonight...having problems like this issue myself and just went password protect last night--not that i really wanted to.

LOL..You are a marketing genius! We could all take a page from your book.

Can't wait to hear it - just downloaded my first podcast (and it was yours!)

I don't have a question, rather, just a comment...when I originally started blogging, it was a place for me to vent, a personal journal of sorts. That all changed 2 posts in, when my husband read over my shoulder and saw what I had said about his mother ( for the record, it was NOT nasty, just something along the lines of: she's nice, but I can only take a week of her at a time because she drives me nuts). He went on to say that his nieces are computer savvy and could probably find my blog and then read that about Grandma and all he** would break loose. I immediately removed it, and since then have kept my blog "family" friendly. Sometimes, I just want to rant about how angry I am at the kids, my husband, or heaven forbid, my MIL, but I can't.

And I've noticed, by googling my own name, that I am ALL over, and ANYONE can find me now - so even my comments are no longer sacred (and will eventually catch up with me, as this one will, I am sure!)

But it IS my blog, and I CAN say what I want, right????

Ooooh, great topic. I'm going to make every effort to get things done early so I can listen in tonight!

Can I just listen on my computer? I'm so out of the technological loop...

Wow, how cool that they invited you! I hope this goes well for you! I'll try to listen to it when I get a moment!
