Motherhood is both fun and not fun. It is both rewarding and draining. It is both challenging and mind-numbing. It's complicated. :-)

I feel the same way, my husband is on the road about 90% of the time and sometimes I just SO frustrated with my 2 year odl toddler, especially in public places like restaurants!!!!!!! I feel like we never eat out due to this!

Thanks SARA!
I realized it after I was chasing my daughter around a nice restaurant last weekend and I just wanted to eat my food in peace.
SIGH.

Seriously, no one's commenting? I mean, sure, ok, a lot of the time parenting is fun, but there are sure are times when it isn't! Like say, when both you and your toddler have the flu and your husband is out of town, when no matter what you do sometimes, you're bound to feel guilty one way or the other, when you just don't get any sleep, when you try to be firm in your discipline but then your toddler starts hitting you just for fun while you're waiting for your coffee at Starbucks...
Anyone?
